- Preferably with Industrial engineering academic background
- Understanding of Industrial Automation systems/SCADA/PLC/hardware systems
- Ability to troubleshoot software/hardware issues and provide timely resolution.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, team, and production support skills
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and maintenance plans
- Experience in troubleshooting network communication issues and understanding of SQL server databases
- Ability to coordinate with cross-cultural teams (TCS/Vendor/Customer), close process gaps, and provide value improvement ideas.
- Understanding of any Pharmaceutical track-and-trace solutions and Serialization systems—Systech, Antares, Seavision, Tracelink, Opel, etc.
- Experience in providing Automation support to manufacturing/packaging systems.
- Understanding of Incident and Change management tools
- Understanding of GMP process, GMP systems used in Pharma
- Experience in handling qualification (I/Q, OQ & PQ process)
- Experience in executing Installation and verification testing on pharma packaging equipment
- Understanding of vision inspection systems and label printers and scanners
- Familiarity with pharma packaging processes and packaging equipment custom software
- Experience in providing engineering support in pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations
- Worked in direct support of and along with the maintenance staff to maintain both complex and simple systems used in packaging operations
- Understanding of Packaging line hardware and PLC programming.
- Understanding of Incident Management System (ServiceNow) and adherence to SLAs and Procedures
- Familiarity with pharma packaging processes and packaging equipment custom software
- Experience in providing engineering support in pharmaceutical manufacturing and packaging operations
- Worked in direct support of and along with the maintenance staff to maintain both complex and simple systems used in packaging operations
Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide support to the Serialization execution Systems in a 24X7 rotating in-person shift schedule (Morning, Evening, and Night)
- Coordinate with remote teams in Automation/software qualification and software validation activities and further assist the Serialization support team in managing packaging lines
- Support a global, repeatable, and logical process to effectively resolve any issues arising from the installation and subsequent operation of Serialization hardware components in packaging operations.
- Providing updates to customers regarding ongoing issues.
- Maintain and update procedures as required.
- Updating engineering, user requirements, and design documents for any changes made to the serialization system.
- Communicate effectively and on time regarding any new spare parts requirements.
- Formal investigation of support issues, communication with impacted stakeholders and vendors, resolution/closure of the issue, and updating appropriate knowledge management records.
- Resource should be quick learner and self-driven; capable of meeting with Business Users and working cross-functionally to define requirements, configure and deploy solutions
- Ability to plan and prioritize work effectively to meet defined delivery levels in a customer-facing role.
- Actively participate among cross-functional teams and lead project initiatives to ensure projects are delivered on time and to required quality standards
