Overview:
SMBC Nikko Securities America, Inc. is looking for an Associate level structurer to assist its Structured Finance Group in structuring and executing securitization transactions.
Responsibilities:
Candidate will be responsible for structuring securitization transactions, with focus on both Term ABS and ABCP/ABL transactions.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2yrs of experience in the securitization industry, with deep understanding of cash flows and transaction structures
- Experience in cash flow modeling (both assets and liabilities) using Excel and/or VBA for various asset classes
- Ability to understand a rating agency methodology and its impact on cash flow modeling and rating process
- Ability to understand deal documentation and implement transaction features in cash flow models
- Working knowledge of Intex Dealmaker, Intex Calc and CAS is preferred but not required
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be a team player and work well in a team setting
