Infosys is seeking a Wireless Network Engineer. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Infrastructure admins, Engineering teams and Subject Matter Experts and will be responsible for implementing, administering, monitoring and troubleshooting cloud and datacenter infrastructure systems. In this role, consultant will also be for the installation, configuration, and integration of Switches, Routers, WAN, Wireless Devices, Wireless Access Points etc. into a project environment, handle system and software patch and license management. Consultant needs to maintain best practices and collaborate with Engineering teams to set the technical vision and target architecture.
Required Qualifications:
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Omaha, NE or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel in the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
•Atleast 4 years of information technology ecpereince is required.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience with Networking experience on CISCO platforms.
• Should have L2 Support experience in network system operations which involves diagnose problems with network equipment and perform equipment repair or upgrades, vulnerabilities and patching for network appliances when appropriate.
• Install, configure, and maintain network cabling and other networking equipment such as hubs, switches, and UPS.
• Support all aspects of Network administration including hardware, software, VPN (Cisco AnyConnect) and performance tuning, day-to-day operations of Network and Unified Communications.
• Install and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless Networks, Wireless Controllers, Access Points, Network Access Control systems, Wireless Network Management tools.
• Experience with Wireless LAN Skills including fundamentals of RF propagation, attenuation, and planning, 802.1x and WLAN security is a big plus.
• Experience with Cisco Viptela, Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE).
• Ability to use Cisco DNAC/ Cat Center.
• Administer NTP & DNS, also add, Move, Change External DNS records in Infoblox and F5 distributed cloud.
• Ability to read and decipher packets using Gigamon.
• Perform network monitoring using Solarwinds.
• Possess hands on expertise in troubleshooting day to day operational issues for wireless, 7K/9K switches, routers, gateways, reporting on the environment and host related issues quickly.
• Experience and desire to work in a global delivery environment including offshore teams
• Must be able to work in 24x7 production support environment.
• Participate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours.

• Manage hardware and software for load balancing infrastructure is nice to have.
• Working knowledge of RightFax technology is nice to have.
• Work on assignments that are complex in nature and require judgement, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutions.
• Interact and co-ordinate with application owners, operations teams – application, infrastructure, security, change and release management team and external vendors
Preferred Qualifications:
• Ability to understand the firewall diagrams and exposure to NSX Firewalls – 9K platform.
• Exposure to DMZ and MPLS networks.
• Experience on Disaster recovery planning and implementation.
• Experience in troubleshooting backup and recovery issues using Rubrik.
• Cisco CCNP, CCNP Voice, switching and routing or CCIE certifications are preferred.
• Cisco Certified Specialist – Enterprise Wireless Design preferred.
• Planning and coordination skills.
• Good communication skills.
