Description
Our client is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as Head of Supply Chain Management. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of our supply chain operations to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timely delivery of products to our customers.
As the Head of Supply Chain Management, you will have a strategic mindset and a deep understanding of supply chain processes. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, including procurement, manufacturing, logistics, and sales, to develop and implement supply chain strategies that align with our business goals. Additionally, you will leverage your expertise to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to optimize our supply chain operations.
The successful candidate will have a strong track record of managing complex supply chains in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You must have excellent leadership skills and the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams. Additionally, you must have a proven ability to manage budgets, negotiate contracts, and develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement supply chain strategies to optimize efficiency and reduce costs.
- Oversee procurement activities, including sourcing, supplier selection, and contract negotiation.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure availability of products while minimizing carrying costs.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess supply chain performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and implement demand planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards for quality, safety, and sustainability.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in Pharmaceutical.
- Proven ability to develop and implement supply chain strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities.
- Proficiency in supply chain management software and tools.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience with budget management and contract negotiation.
