Job Title: SAP S/4 Test Lead
Pay Rate: $55/HR-$65/HR
Conversion Salary: $110K-$125K
Location: Ft. Worth, TX 76102
Work Model: On site for the first 90 days. 3x/week on site after that.
Job Description: We are seeking an SAP Test Lead for an ongoing technology modernization & business transformation initiative, to lead the testing efforts for our SAP S/4 large-scale implementation project. The successful candidate will have a strong background in the following areas to help us achieve these key responsibilities:
-Test Strategy & Planning
- This lead will be responsible for implementing holistic test strategies such as System Integration Testing (SITs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and Performance/Regression Testing
-Test Design & Execution
- Develop detailed E2E test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on business requirements and functional specifications, while helping coordinate the Testing Schedule and Calendar
- Oversee the execution of test cases & document results against target schedule, ensuring comprehensive coverage of all business processes
-Test Automation & Continuous Improvement
- A lot of the testing will be manual, but will also manage/coordinate test automation for performance & regression testing
- Assist in determining which test scenarios meet criteria for automation and ensure that the organization has the tools and training to conduct testing activities
- Identify opportunities for process improvement/automation during the testing process and contribute to the enhancement of testing tools & methodologies
-Defect Management
- This individual will monitor/manage defects throughout the testing lifecycle (identification-->resolution-->closure)
- Collaboration with development teams and system integrators to ensure defects are properly prioritized/categorized and addressed promptly
-Team Leadership & Stakeholder Management
- This Lead will guide a team of testers and will be expected to provide mentoring & support to ensure high-quality testing outcomes and foster a collaborative, results-driven testing environment
- Responsible for developing and approving testing deliverables, including test strategy, providing regular status updates/reporting on testing progress & outcomes
- Facilitate effective communication between business stakeholders, PMs, developers, and other cross-functional teams
Top Skills:
-5-8+ years in SAP testing with a focus on large-scale implementations
-Experience leading testing efforts for at least 1 complex SAP/ERP project (Agile methodology preferred)
-Strong knowledge of SAP S/4 Modules (MM, FI/CO, SD)
-Proficiency in testing tools and methodologies (JIRA, TestFLO, HP ALM)
Pluses:
-Automation testing with tools like Micro Focus, Tricentis/Tosca
