Objective of the Position:
Support the production process by helping to keep the equipment and tools performing at the level they were originally designed to perform. Must have a significant capacity for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Essential Accountabilities:
- Assess the skill level of maintenance team members/ programmers and recommend and/or provides training
- Attends production planning meeting prepared to discuss maintenance needs.
- Establish and maintain positive shift to shift communication among the maintenance/programmers.
- Maintains open communication with operations regarding plans for equipment maintenance timing.
- Oversees personnel in charge of maintaining, repairing, programming and rebuilding various production machines and equipment.
- Prepare facilities for installation of new equipment and layout changes, including working with outside contractors.
- Provide primary input to establish new, and upgrade existing preventive maintenance tasks.
- Manage timecards, schedule and time off daily for all subordinates in e-time.
- Recommend equipment/tool upgrade opportunities.
- Recommends solutions to chronic reliability problems and executes planned solutions.
- Reports equipment related problems to operations and recommend/execute solutions.
- Responsible for adherence to lock out/tag out policies.
- Responsible for adherence to preventive maintenance plans.
- Responsible for identifying spare parts needs and organization of spare parts inventory.
- Responsible for organization of the equipment manuals.
- Responsible for reducing or eliminating unplanned equipment downtime.
- Strive to fully utilize the SAP PM module for all maintenance reporting.
- Support full use of the SAP PM module.
- Verify work of maintenance/programmers is full completed. Identify and execute follow up needs.
Secondary Accountabilities:
- Conduct all business related activities for, and on the behalf of, the company within the limits of applicable local, state, and federal legal requirements.
- Provide support to, and compliance with, all local and corporate Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) policies, procedures and other HSE related requirements.
- Quality - Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and follows all ENA polices related to TS16949 and ISO 14001; looks for way to improve and promote quality.

Requirement Profile:
Professional Background / Basic Qualification / Work Experience:
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) infield or closely related field (preferred but not required).
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in supervising maintenance personnel.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience working for a manufacturing supplier preferably automotive.
- Vocational and/or Technical degree/certificate or Journeyman card. Minimum 4 years’ experience in field.
- Ability to travel domestically by car or plane.
- To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office.
