Adjaye Associates is looking for a Project Team Member in our New York office interested in working on a broad range of scales from private houses, retail and exhibitions to cultural centers, civic landmarks, residential towers, and community masterplans. The successful candidate will share in our devotion to social impact and will be committed to developing high-quality work in a self-motivated but collaborative manner, with a strong desire to continually learn.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
· Drafting comprehensive drawing sets from concept through construction documents
· Generate detailed 3D models to develop all aspects throughout the changing design process
· Produce professional‐level photorealistic renderings
· Build physical models throughout all project phases using a combination of hand and machine
· Provide research assistance for topics such as site context or material and system selections
· Maintain files including drawings, documents, specifications, correspondences, and all other project materials in an organized manner following protocols
· Ensure all deliverables produced follow standards of the firm and direction from the project leader or principal
· Develop presentation documents in support of various project phases
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
· 0-5 years of experience in several phases of the design process: conceptual, detail and design development, construction documents, and construction administration with site supervision
· Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Compensation & Benefits:
· The salary range for this position is commensurate with experience, qualifications, and education and usually ranges between $62,000 to $85,000 excluding benefits.
