Job Description
- As a Business Intelligence BI Developer to create and manage BI and analytics solutions that turn data into knowledge In this role you should have a background in data and business analysis You should be analytical and an excellent communicator You will enhance our business intelligence system to help us make better decisions
- Responsibility
- Translate business needs to technical specifications
- Design build and deploy BI solutions eg reporting tools
- Maintain and support data analytics platforms
- Create tools to transform and store data
- Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
- Evaluate and improve existing BI systems
- Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses
- Create visualizations and reports for requested projects
- Develop and update technical documentation
- Technical Skills
- Proven prior experience in Data Warehousing data modelling concepts design development and support using Microsoft BI stack SQL Server SSRS SSIS Power BI and Power Apps
- Prior experience with PowerBI development
- Prior experience with PowerApps development
- Experience using SQL Server Stored Procedure Views and Trigger
- Experience ETL Extract Transform Load Programming experience
- Experience SQL Server Reporting Services SSRS experience
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of research and analysis
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience working with changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to meet stringent deadlines
- Experience working within Agile teams
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications to design and deliver optimum solutions for business needs
