Polyglass USA, Inc., a premiere roofing materials manufacturer, has an opening for a Technical Services Rep local to the Midwest territory. This position will be responsible for providing contractors, specifiers, architects, consultants and sales teams with product knowledge, installation best practices, technical education and field support.
What You Get To Do:
- Support Technical Services manager with waterproofing system installation and design needs
- Design and develop technical content upon request including but not limited to guide specifications, installation instructions, CAD drawings/system details etc.)
- Provide project support to contractors, specifiers, consultants, architects and building owners on the job site, in person or via conference calls to ensure successful project completions
- Provide voice of customer from the field to product management and R&D for new product development projects
- Support the BES training initiatives for both internal and external parties upon request
- Manage relationships and promote Polyglass image/goals within requested industry associations (for example RCI, CSI, SWRI, etc.)
What We Look For:
- 10+ years in technical related role in the Waterproofing/Building Envelope materials segment
- Requires Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or the equivalent work experience
- Ability to work successfully cross functionally and maintain a strong working relationship with internal and external stakeholder
- Must be able to lead and influence without authority to achieve business objectives and support the business plan as required
