The Role:
Our client, a world-renowned medical device manufacturer, is looking for an experienced manufacturing process engineer to help grow their operations in Cleveland, MS.
Must Haves:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Experience with plastics manufacturing.
- Programming/troubleshooting experience with automation controls, automated assembly, control systems.
- 3+ years' experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Design software experience (like AutoCAD, Solid Works, etc.).
- Six Sigma & Lean MFG Experience.
- Excellent written and oral skills.
- Experience with Scientific Molding/De-coupled Molding is required.
Responsibilities:
- Design/modify precision assembly and/or manufacturing equipment.
- Prepare estimates for various projects.
- Drive Continuous Improvement Activities.
- Develop and implement new manufacturing processes.
- Equipment life cycle management including: upgrades, replacement, and decommissioning.
- Product life cycle management including: product design changes, material changes, Supplier Notice of Change (SNC) assessments, specification changes, etc.
