We are looking for a passionate and highly motivated Data Analysis for a Fortune 100 client. This is a long-term role in Plano, TX
What you will do:
- Data Analysis - Perform analysis for large complex systems applying structured and repeatable data analysis techniques. Answer complex data questions over multiple large marketing data sets to deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to non-technical audiences, through clear visualizations and presentations. Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets.
- Data Analysis Design and Documentation – Develop repeatable and organized processes for answering complex questions that can be utilized by others. This will include supporting data flow diagram and data documentation as well as visualization and presentation standards.
- Experience with data warehouse, data lake, and enterprise big data platforms in multi-data-center contexts required.
- Data Discovery and Support– Profiling and connecting new data sources to existing data sources to highlight opportunities to meet business and technology objectives. Troubleshoot and provide resolutions on issues related to data quality, reports, and databases.
- Stakeholder Engagement - Communicate and build relationships with the business and vendor partners. Work with external and internal teams to influence direction and achieve buy-in to solutions.
- Experience with Data Modelling, Data structures, data engineering, understanding on difference schema, experience validating data, transforming data .
What you’ll bring:
- A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration with IS focus, Management Information Systems, related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Data analysis expertise with the proven ability to independently answer complex questions involving combining large data sets using a variety of SQL tools and database technologies (examples: RedShift, Athena, Big Query).
- Hands-on expertise with multiple analysis and visualization technologies (examples: Power BI, Tableau, Excel, Notebooks).
- A huge passion for data and using analytics tools and skills to both answer challenging questions and discover new opportunities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to create and present concepts, influence, and persuade the business, and make recommendations to management.
