Hybrid schedule - 4 days onsite and 1 from home from Maryland Heights
Our client is seeking a skilled Business Analyst to support mobile developers and mobile applications. In this role, you will become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for a specific mobile application, facilitating upgrades, enhancements, and other improvements. You will work closely with both the business team and development teams to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze Existing Application Functionality (30%): Evaluate current state of applications to understand existing functionalities and identify areas for improvement.
• Analyze Project Requests (40%): Work with project stakeholders to determine desired future state and create detailed requirements documentation to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with Development Team (20%): Understand the feasibility of project requests, assess systems impact, and document development needs for project success.
• Attend Meetings (10%): Participate in department and project meetings to stay aligned with project goals and timelines.
Job Requirements:
• Experience: 3-5+ years of experience in business analysis.
• Methodologies: Well-versed in Agile and Waterfall methodologies, processes, and cadences.
• Liaison Skills: Ability to act as a liaison between technical groups and business owners.
• Requirements Gathering: Strong techniques and skills in gathering and eliciting requirements.
• Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate with all project stakeholders, including senior leadership up to VP level.
• Research Skills: Ability to independently research topics using tools like SharePoint and other document repositories.
• Software Proficiency: Proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio.
• Project Participation: Ability to be an active project participant by offering feedback, guidance, and assistance to help meet project delivery dates.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Documentation: Ability to write clear, concise, and testable requirements/user stories and acceptance criteria using the INVEST criteria.
• Impact Analysis: Ability to recognize and determine whether project changes impact other systems.
• Dependency Identification: Ability to identify up/downstream dependencies.
• Organizational Skills: Coordination of meeting agendas, minutes, and action items.
• Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support multiple project assignments and business owners.
• Traceability: Ensure traceability of considerations that may be overlooked by the business.
Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be considered when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting reflects a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided range.
