Director of Project Finance
Location: Chicago
Salary: Up to $200,000 + Bonus
Piper Maddox are partnered with an industry leading utility scale development business as they hire for a Director of Project Finance to join their talented team. With over 60GW of development pipeline this role is crucial to their growth across the US.
This role is critical to the ongoing success of the team, and they are keen to hire a experienced professional who can take the lead on complex deals. The Director will utilize a team of analysts to oversee the the structuring, due diligence and negotiation of high value proposals.
What you will do:
- Lead on complex financial modelling focusing for large scale solar and storage projects.
- Create and maintain complex financial models covering mostly tax equity financing.
- Conduct complex financial analysis of companies and projects to determine feasibility of potential projects.
- Utilize a team of analysts to drive projects forwards quickly and effectively.
What you will have:
- 8+ years experience in project finance creating and developing financial models for solar projects.
- Experience in closing multiple (minimum 2) tax equity projects in the renewables space.
- Track record of working with a variety of equity and debt transactions ideally connected directly to solar / storage projects.
