Job Summary:
Our Benefits Assistant is a key role to ensure that employees have a phenomenal experience with their health, dental, vision, 401k, and supplemental benefits. This person also assists with open enrollment and benefits projects; including compliance with COBRA, Medicare, and employee life events.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Ensure employees are enrolled, educated, and cared for with benefits
2. Serve as primary point of contact for worksite employees related to any benefits
questions.
3. Facilitate enrollments, terminations, and changes of status in HRIS and with carriers
4. Create and maintain HRIS related to benefits, a variety of spreadsheets and data entry
as needed
5. Work alongside Tier 1 Broker Benefit Advocate Team in employee service
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
● HRIS experience preferred
● 1-3 Years benefits experience
● Bachelor’s degree preferred (Accounting, Finance, HR or related fields), or equivalent
experience
● Advanced spreadsheet skills
