Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid Immigration Paralegal role located in New York, NY, with flexibility for some remote work. This job is in New York and will require regular visits to our office. As such, the applicant must be based in the Tri-state area. (NY/NJ/CT). The Immigration Paralegal will be responsible for assisting attorneys with preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications, drafting and preparing legal documents, communicating with clients, conducting research, and managing cases from start to finish. The Immigration Paralegal must maintain a high level of organization and attention to detail while working in a fast-paced environment. The role will also involve some administrative tasks such as printing, copying and mailing. 3 years of full-time immigration paralegal experience is preferred but we will consider a minimum of 1-2 years of full-time immigration paralegal experience. A focus on PERM filings is a plus.
Qualifications
- 3 years of business immigration paralegal experience
- Knowledge of Immigration Law and relevant issues
- Experience with preparing and filing immigration petitions and applications
- Experience with creating and drafting legal documents such as affidavits, motions, and briefs
- Experience managing and organizing legal cases
- Experience communicating with clients and government agencies
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, Political Science, or a related field
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
- Experience with E-2 and EB-5 Visas is a plus
Salary Range: $60,000 - $85,000 plus benefits.
