Home Health Revenue Cycle Analyst

Project: Cerner to Epic Conversion
Job Summary:
MedSys is seeking an experienced Home Health Revenue Cycle Analyst to join our team for a 15-month project focused on converting from Cerner to Epic systems. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of home health revenue cycle processes and will play a critical role in ensuring a smooth transition between systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- System Conversion Support: Assist in the planning and execution of the Cerner to Epic conversion for revenue cycle modules specific to home health services.
- Workflow Analysis: Evaluate current revenue cycle workflows and identify opportunities for improvement during the system transition.
- Data Management: Ensure accurate migration of financial data and patient billing information from Cerner to Epic.
- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate system functionality and data integrity post-conversion.
- Collaboration: Work closely with IT teams, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to align system capabilities with organizational needs.
- Training Support: Provide input and support to the training team to help develop user manuals and training materials.
- Reporting: Generate reports to monitor revenue cycle performance and identify any issues post-implementation.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Revenue Cycle Analyst in a home health care setting.
- Hands-on experience with Cerner and Epic revenue cycle modules.
- Previous involvement in system conversion projects is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Certifications: Epic certification in relevant modules is required.
