Job Title: Civil CAD Technician
Location: Tampa, FL
Job type and Duration: Permanent – Full-time
Our client, a leading national structural contractor, is looking to hire a CAD Technician to join their Engineering team in Tampa, FL.
The CAD Technician will work with a collaborative group of engineers and CAD professionals to interpret design concepts and produce final construction drawings.
Responsibilities
- Providing drafting and designing support by preparing and maintaining engineering drawings
- Completing red-lined as-built drawings
- Preparing designs from general instruction and preliminary sketches, diagrams, or schematics
- Providing recommendations for modifications and changes for design improvement and simplification
- Producing complex technical drawings
- Preparing working drawings from conceptual layout to detailed finished product
- Coordinating CAD projects with other team members
- Generating and coordinating files for project layout
Qualifications
- AS or BS Degree is preferred.
- Civil 3D experience is preferred.
- 0-2 years experience working as a CAD Tech/Drafter.
- Sound technical knowledge.
