Position Overview
The warehouse Person is responsible for the handling, packing and shipping of products in the distribution warehouse. The individual is also responsible for performing the necessary inventory transactions with use of handheld
scanners.
What You'll Do
General responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- The warehouse material handler is responsible for the selection, picking, and packing
functions within the warehouse team.
- Use of inventory electronic scanners to accurately and timely scan all inventory
movements associated with product transfers.
- Creation, fulfillment, and closing of orders with quality and accuracy for each line time.
- Use and operation of forklifts, reach trucks, and order pickers for daily job function
- Assist and maintain department 6s functions and activities
- Ensure all completed orders are properly staged, addressed, and secured or packaged
for delivery
- Assist in the receiving and dock shipping functions as needed including goods receipts,
and freight loading processes.
- Learn, leverage and utilize SAP inventory and warehouse management system for
inventory related issues
- May be required to perform other tasks such as bin replenishment, staging over flow
volume stock, and pulling stock transport orders.
- May be required to perform tasks outside the scope of normal operations, such as
assembling racks, equipment upkeep, painting, etc.

- A basic knowledge of the principles involved in general warehousing.
- A basic knowledge of the operation of forklifts,4-d’s, order pickers and other general
warehouse equipment.
