The Manufacturing Manager will oversee day-to-day operations and strategic initiatives to optimize production processes, ensure quality standards, and drive efficiency across the value stream. This role will focus on implementing lean manufacturing principles, enhancing process improvements, and managing resources effectively to meet production goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metals manufacturing, a passion for continuous improvement, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
- Production Oversight: Manage daily production activities to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency goals are met. Oversee scheduling, resource allocation, and workforce planning to achieve optimal output.
- Continuous Improvement: Lead initiatives focused on reducing waste, improving process flow, and enhancing overall operational efficiency using lean manufacturing principles and tools.
- Value Stream Management: Drive value stream mapping and analysis to identify opportunities for process optimization and increased throughput across the production line.
- Lean Manufacturing: Implement and sustain lean manufacturing techniques, including 5S, Kaizen, and Six Sigma methodologies, to foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Process Improvement: Develop and execute process improvement strategies, focusing on reducing cycle times, enhancing quality, and minimizing costs while meeting customer requirements.
- Bill of Materials (BOM) Management: Ensure accuracy and integrity of BOMs, work instructions, and production orders to support efficient production planning and inventory management.
- Cost Control & Efficiency: Monitor and control production costs, implement cost-saving measures, and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous learning. Drive engagement and morale through effective leadership and communication.
Experience:
- Bachelors in Engineering
- Experience in a Senior or Lead level role required
- Experience in a metals or fabrication atmosphere strongly preferred
- At least 5 years of experience
