Senior Director of Finance – Accounting Transformation
A highly profitable, billion-dollar lifestyle brand (manufacturer wholesaler, eCommerce, License) is seeking a Senior Director of Finance to drive the transformation of their accounting operations and all associated workflows. This newly created position requires a deep understanding of and experience in designing approaches to achieve agreed upon strategic change across a complex business landscape. The role requires the ability to determine approach and execution of a functional strategy or set of goals and to meet or exceed desired outcomes. This position functions as an integral member of the finance leadership team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage Finance Transformation related initiatives, including Decision Support,
- Global Operations and Innovation teams.
- Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams to integrate financial transformation with other business areas.
- Deliver an initiative implementing global management reporting (consolidated
- expenses, multi-year, multi-currency P&L reporting, budgeting/forecasting)
- Build and manage relationships with key senior stakeholders, organizations and business heads
- Ensure holistic, transparent and clear status, issue and risk disposition for all stakeholders, escalating any issues
- Lead and manage any issues in delivering timely and consistent PMO status reporting
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience, ideally with a foundation in financial consulting
- Demonstrated track record of having successfully overseen large, cross-functional transformation initiatives
- Ability to successfully manage relationships across multiple functions and execute against collective goals
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Project Management
- MBA and/or CPA preferred
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills especially focused within large data sets
- Experience working in or driving innovation in accounting and reporting, accounts receivable, deductions management and accounts payable.
- Experience with SAP and systems implementations experience a plus
- Energetic, flexible, collaborative, and proactive; a leader who can positively and productively impact finance and corporate initiatives.
- Experience within the CPG, wholesale or Consulting industry highly preferred.
Salary: $155K -$195K & Bonus
