Position: Sanitation Supervisor
Pay Rate/Salary: $65-95k
Location: Stockton, CA
Schedule: Open to any schedule and any shift
Job Description: Responsible for supervising the facility’s sanitation, janitorial, and fumigation daily activities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide strong leadership to the Sanitation team to achieve full plant compliance with all personnel safety, food safety, and quality.
- Meet or exceed guidelines as they pertain to the facility equipment and industry standards for sanitation and SQF.
- Ensure compliance to all local, state, and federal food manufacturing sanitation requirements.
- Responsible for supervising all sanitation and janitorial staff.
- Maintain good working relationships with all employees.
- Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), HACCP, FSMA and SQF requirements.
- Maintain facility Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Program.
- Oversee facility fumigation activities.
- Liaise with contracted pest control and chemical companies.
- Provide solutions and promote teamwork amongst the various groups such as production, maintenance, and quality.
- Ensure safety compliance with all chemical dilution, titration, and use.
- Monitor, review, and suggest/direct initiatives for continuous improvement in all areas of operations.
- Champion a culture of food sanitation. Train employees on proper sanitation and chemical use, dispersal, and disposal.
- Review employee performance and assist in employee development.
- Observe equipment throughout facility and reports concerns to maintenance staff.
- Give feedback on a routine basis to all employees.
- Administer supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company’s policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring and training employees; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems
- Develop strong partnership with plant management, quality, maintenance, and engineering.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Able to work any shift required, including weekends and holidays as applicable.

Training and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in food science, Chemistry, or equivalent required Qualified Applicator License (QAL) for the state of California preferred.
- Must have 3 years of Sanitation supervisory and leadership experience preferred.
