As a Wingstop Director of Operations, you’ll drive operational excellence and make sure Wingstop high standards are met by ensuring the restaurants in your market are always clean, safe and ready for business. Our plans will be powered by building winning teams and delivering financial results.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Represents Vibe Restaurants’ Vision, Mission, and Core Values
· Oversees profit, sales, and guest count growth for assigned geographic area. Works with Area Coaches in assigned area to develop and execute growth plans
· Managing cost controls, including food and paper, labor, and operating supplies
· Prepares and interprets financial and operational reports and schedules, analyzes data and develops solutions to ensure operating goals are achieved
· Analyzes and identifies gaps in area operational performance and addresses them to maximize performance and achieve goals
· Leads the annual planning process by aligning goals with the corporate strategic annual operating plan
· Consistently and effectively communicates the company’s objectives to all store management teams through organized and scheduled conference calls, meetings and/or electronic communications
· Encourages Area Coaches to promote Wingstop through community involvement activities and coaches General Managers to develop and execute their local store marketing plan to drive sales and guest count
· Hires, trains, and develops Restaurant Managers (at all levels) and proactively builds bench strength for future management needs
· Facilitates the successful roll-out of new programs for the assigned geographic area
· Works to create and maintain an enjoyable and respectful environment for our guests and employees throughout the assigned geographic area
· Actively works to resolve and prevent employee relations issues and partners with the Human Resources Manager on investigations and follow-up activities. Takes appropriate disciplinary measures as warranted
· Monitors compliance with Wingstop Standards, policies and procedures, all health codes and other regulatory requirements and employment laws
· Checks equipment and facilities for compliance to corporate standards and takes corrective action when required
· Completes and submits all reports, documentation, and other administrative requirements in a timely manner
· Performs all other tasks and duties as assigned
