Our client is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Logistics Manager to join their team. As a Senior Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of logistics operations to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of goods and services to our customers. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including transportation, warehouse, and procurement, to streamline processes and optimize supply chain operations.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement logistics strategies and processes to optimize efficiency and reduce costs
- Monitor and track inventory levels and ensure accurate and timely replenishment
- Coordinate and manage logistics activities, including transportation, distribution, and inventory management
- Oversee the planning and coordination of shipments to meet customer demand and ensure on-time delivery
- Analyze logistics data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve logistics challenges and ensure customer satisfaction
- Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals, providing guidance and support to achieve departmental objectives
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
- Proven experience as a logistics manager, preferably in a senior role
- Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain principles and practices
- Proficient in using logistics management software and systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Leadership abilities with a proven track record of managing teams and driving results
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
