The Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) Operations Analyst is responsible for managing the lifecycle of futures and options trades, ensuring that client instructions, amendments, and corrections are processed accurately and efficiently. The role requires a strong understanding of ETD, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality output under tight deadlines. The ideal candidate will work closely with Execution Desks, Client Services teams, and other internal stakeholders to resolve client queries, identify and implement operational improvements, and contribute to risk management initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process client instructions, amendments, and corrections across the lifecycle of futures and options trades with precision and timeliness.
- Collaborate with Execution Desks and Client Services teams to resolve client queries promptly and professionally
- Identify opportunities for operational enhancements and risk reduction, contributing to a pipeline of changes across ETD operations.
- Assist in the development and automation of risk and performance metrics.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide feedback on key change programs.
- Offer ad hoc support and expertise to the change management team as needed.
Required Skills:
- General understanding of Exchange-Traded Derivatives (ETD) and Futures & Options.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the ability to create detailed PowerPoint presentations and process flow charts using Visio.
- Experience working at an Exchange or within a bank environment.
- Bachelor’s Degree.
Industry-Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with terms such as FCM, GMI, R&N, Clearing, Position Management, CME, CBT, OCC, ICE US, CBOE, Intercontinental Exchange, Balancing, Reconciliations, and Top Day Adjustments is highly desirable.
