We are seeking an experienced Structural Steel Detailer for our customer in Novi, MI. The successful candidate will be responsible for producing detailed drawings and plans for structural steel fabrication and erection projects. Experience with Tekla Structures or SDS/2 is required.
Job Responsibilities
- Produce detailed shop and erection drawings based on engineering designs, including plans, sections, and elevations.
- Develop accurate bills of materials for fabrication and procurement purposes.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to ensure plans and specifications are accurate and meet project requirements.
- Attend project meetings and coordinate with other trades to resolve design and construction issues.
Experience:
- 3+ years of experience as a Structural Steel Detailer proficient in AutoCAD, Tekla Structures, SDS/2, and/or Autodesk Inventor.
- Bachelor's or associate degree in engineering, or related technical field preferred.
- Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in the United States
