This is a Hybrid Position
We are looking for a Civil or Environmental Engineer with 4 to 6 years of experience to work out of our Kenosha office. You would work on a variety of projects, depending on client needs, with the goal to eventually design and manage projects from start to finish through design and/or construction.
Duties for this position include, but are not limited to:
Design transportation, storm water management, green infrastructure, sanitary sewer, water main, water/wastewater facilities and other municipal infrastructure projects
Interact with technicians, engineers, project managers, municipal officials, contractors and the public regarding project related design and construction elements
Prepare project-related permit applications at the Federal, State and local levels
Build positive and productive relationships with coworkers and clients
Depending on your experience, interest and workload, there may be opportunities to work on site development, agricultural and/or natural resources projects
Qualifications and Skills
The ideal candidate shall possess the following qualifications:
Professional Engineering License in Wisconsin
Enjoys working in the municipal engineering field and enjoys working with other professionals in a collaborative team-focused environment
Be self-sufficient with the ability to meet deadlines and lead project components
Bachelor’s Degree (or higher) in Civil, Environmental, or Agricultural Engineering (or a related degree)
AutoCAD Civil 3D/Revit basic knowledge (preferred but not required)
Have strong communication skills and be comfortable working directly with clients and contractors
Minimum of 4 years of design and construction administration experience on a variety of municipal projects, with at least 2 of those years in a project management and/or business development role
