Akkodis is seeking a candidate for a Vehicle Software Engineer position with one of our Fortune 500 partners in the Automotive industry.
Talented software engineer with hands on experience working with vehicles.
Below are some of the required qualifications.
· Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related degree.
· 5+ years of overall engineering experience
· Ability to work with computer-based tools to collect and analyze data
· Thorough knowledge of complex mechanical and electrical concepts
· High level of oral and written communication skills
· Experience in performance calibration
· Knowledge of the major vehicle systems
· 7+ years of automotive experience in testing, development, and calibration
· Demonstrated hands-on experience with automotive electrical interfaces, including LIN, CAN, and Ethernet
· 5+ years of working experience with C/C++
· Knowledge of Python or other scripting languages
· Demonstrated hands-on experience with Vector, DSpace, ETAS software and hardware
· Proven track record & drive to do hands-on work such as ECU flashing, vehicle updates, component removal/installation
