Company Description
OatFi is a full-stack credit risk infrastructure provider, enabling embedded B2B payments and lending. Our platform manages underwriting, risk coverage, funding, and capital markets to support working capital products embedded within B2B payment flows.
Credit for Small and Medium Businesses is the largest unsolved lending segment in the U.S. Traditional lenders struggle with the high cost of acquiring quality customers, the risk posed by underperforming businesses, and the lack of data needed to differentiate between the two. Fintech providers of B2B payments, marketplaces, and business workflow solutions understand that lending is essential to their destination revenue model, but the costs and complexities of establishing their own internal programs are prohibitive, except at the largest scale.
Our API-only solution is unique in the fintech industry, providing our partners with unparalleled flexibility and creativity to enable a variety of front-end workflows and customer experiences. These experiences offer direct access to customers, rich proprietary data, and the ability to create risk-advantaged product solutions. Together, we are addressing the enormous unmet needs of our business customers, enabling their growth and success.
We’ve already achieved our first milestone in under six months and are well on our way to the next. At OatFi, you will have the opportunity to shape the future of B2B payments and lending as we scale to tackle this massive opportunity. Your contributions each day will have a direct and meaningful impact on the future we are building.
Job Description
Credit risk management is our core business. As a Credit Risk Analyst at OatFi, you will be at the heart of what we do every day. You won’t have to fight for resources with other product categories or hope that your leadership understands the importance of credit risk management. From our investors to our C-suite, we have decades of experience building lending businesses and know what it takes to succeed.
We have established the core structures and capabilities to put you immediately in the driver’s seat of credit analysis and decision-making. A broad set of data, numerous existing partnerships, dedicated engineering resources, and the ability to deploy new automated decisions in minutes will empower you to make an immediate impact. You’ll also receive support and coaching from our experienced leadership team to maximize your current skills while continuing to grow in your expertise.
Despite the existing structure and support, this role is very much an opportunity to be a founding member of the OatFi risk team. We are not simply deploying what exists elsewhere, but creating new approaches to define the future of our business and the industry. In this role, you will have visibility into dozens of B2B fintech companies, provide direction on how to build successful credit products, and help discover or create winning strategies across the industry. There is much more to build and learn as we develop and scale the best credit capabilities in the industry.
