thrive, and as a result, our teams are expanding. We are seeking a motivated
and ambitious individual to join our team as a Fit Model. This role offers an
exciting opportunity to work closely with the design, technical design and
merchandising teams and be a key contributor to the success of our
customer’s experience.
Responsibilities:
- Attends fit sessions as model to provide feedback and check movement and functionality of each garment
- Display dresses, tops, bottoms or a combination, Enable our fit technicians to take measures and produce corrections
- Try clothing under the direction of the Product Development teams to achieve Mark's fit standards
- Provide feedback about the style, fit, and comfort of the garment as requested
- Must maintain size requirements within a 1/2 " of approved
- measurements
- Must maintain body shape and form to ensure fit consistency
- Clearly communicate fit issues
- Pinpoint potential customer concerns about quality and fit
- Work with designers, technologists and product developers in Fit
- Sessions by trying on garments in all stages of production
- Organizing samples and sample room and other office duties as needed
- Track and manage Fit Schedules with Technical Designers and Cross
- Functional partners to ensure scheduling and prioritization of fittings are aligned with the calendar and business deliverables
- Maintain appropriate undergarments, shoes and essential basics (as determined by the Brand) to be used for fittings
- Participate in social media content creation
- Help with photoshoots occasionally
- Unpack samples, possibly lifting 30lbs
Qualifications:
- Interest and/or curiosity in Fashion Retail
- Availability to work full-time
- Ability to communicate fit information in a clear and detailed manner
- Availability between 9am – 5pm, Monday through Friday
- Maintain their target weight and size spec to maintain consistent sizing
- Must meet specific measurement requirements
- Must be able to commute to Burr Ridge offices
- 2-4 years of relevant experience as a Fit Model preferred
- Polished, patient, and adaptable
- Must be willing to be measured and photographed
This is a full-time, in office position in our Burr Ridge Corporate office
