Lab Manager
W2 Contract
Salary Range: $135,200 - $156,000 per year
Location: Mountain View, CA - Onsite Role
Requirements and Qualifications:
- BS in computer science, IT, or related field. Alternatively, 5 years of experience in a similar role.
- Experience managing and supporting test lab environments
- Experience with lab capacity planning
- Experience managing lab utilization and recognizing lab device needs
- Able to be proactive and communicate cross-functionally
- Knowledge of Linux system administration, installation, configuration, troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Bash scripting or similar command line tools
- Knowledge of Python or GoLang
- Experience setting up x86 server hardware, BIOS/UEFI configuration, and other server and rack configuration tasks
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of IPMI/iDRAC/Redfish or similar out-of-band management tools
- Familiar with Infrastructure-as-Code or similar concepts
- Experience with configuration management systems like Ansible, Chef, Puppet, and Salt
- Knowledge of macOS System Administration, installation, configuration, troubleshooting
- Knowledge of networking, including TCP or OSI layers, NAT, IPv6, VLANs, and firewalls
