This role will be crucial in enhancing the capabilities of their distributed-cloud device management platform, contributing to the evolution of their innovative software for enterprise and defense applications.

Focus:
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of embedded systems software using C and Rust.
- Develop and implement functionalities related to TR-181 and USP protocols on gateway devices.
- Collaborate closely with hardware engineers to ensure software compatibility with target platforms.
- Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, ensuring high standards of quality.
- Perform unit testing and integration testing to maintain software reliability and performance.
- Drive the development of a distributed-cloud device management solution to support the company's transition toward a recurring revenue model.
- Stay informed on the latest trends and technologies in embedded systems development.
Skill Set:
- Several years of experience in embedded systems programming using C. Experience with Rust is a plus.
- Solid understanding of computer architecture, operating systems, and gateway devices.
- Proficient in Python, Linux development, and shell scripting.
- Experience with management protocols like TR-181 and USP.
- Familiarity with databases such as SQLite and PostgreSQL, and MQTT.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Experience with IoT devices, protocols, and cloud platforms.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and self-motivated mindset with a passion for learning and detail orientation.
