Take2 is hiring a full time, hybrid (3 days at office/ 2 days remote) for our federal government client in Pensacola, FL. Ideal candidate will have active DoD Secret Clearance or higher and CompTIA Security+ certification.
We are looking for a skilled Computer Systems Analyst (CSA) to provide data file management and interfacing support for Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) and proprietary government financial systems. This person will support financial management stakeholders in the areas of accounting operations, budget execution, audit oversight, and financial reporting.
Role, Responsibilities, and Competencies:
- SQL Server database administrator responsible for several databases and their maintenance.
- Run mid-month and monthly financial procedures to stage Allocation Data, Accruals, Cost Transfers, and Chargeback for processing as well as generate Invoices for users to access.
- Monitor daily jobs that pull incremental or full Oracle table data to SSMS tables. Perform steps to reconcile record differences in correlating tables.
- Troubleshoot and correct when failures or oddities emerge in daily jobs and reports. Evaluate to ensure data is overall complete, reliable, consistent, and timely.
- Implement adjustments in SSMS database tables, stored procedures, scheduled jobs, and saved SQL scripts for changing, testing, transferring, and retrieving data.
- Work with system engineer to test database servers and applications after system patches have been applied.
- Review system documentation, security settings, logs, and existing practices for installation and database Security technical implementation guide (STIG) compliance to establish and maintain audit readiness.
- Update STIG vulnerability details on the application used to close tasks and provide details for open findings when applicable to help mitigate security risks.
- Stay up to date on best technical practices and recommendations as reflected in obtaining the CompTIA Security + Certification, completing required trainings in a timely manner, and monitoring STIG compliance.
- Advise stakeholders and counterparts on areas of improvement for solutions that will positively impact accuracy, productivity, and system effectiveness.
- Create and maintain new documentation or knowledge base for personal reference as well as ensuring continuity of operations in the absence of a supporting role.
Qualifications, Education, and Skills Requirements
- US Citizen.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, accounting, finance, business, or related fields.
- One to five years of relevant experience in computer systems analytics, system administration, and/or configuration management.
- Experience in government information systems and databases.
- Must have exceptional critical thinking and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, SQL, Visio, and Oracle.
Additional Desires and Considerations
- One to Five years of relevant experience in computer systems analytics, system administration, and/or configuration management.
- Active DoD Secret Clearance or eligibility.
- Previous experience supporting DoD or Federal government agencies.
- CDMP, CompTIA Security+, or other IT certification.
- Military or veteran hiring preference.
