What’s the position?
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Payments Manager to join our team. The role will be responsible for customer service payments escalations, benchmarking and change implementation, operational improvements, rule refinement, payment risk and transactional reviews and implementing a continuous feedback loop with the aim to
deliver the best possible payments experience for our customers
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the day-to-day activities of the payments team, providing guidance and support.
- Assist in the training and development of payments team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Be the escalation point for the Supervisor group, providing solutions, knowledge and support as required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including customer service, compliance, and IT, to ensure a holistic approach to payments processing.
- Prepare detailed reports on payments issues, trends, and effectiveness of prevention measures.
What are we looking for?
Successful candidates will be self-driven and a self-motivated team player capable of working efficiently in a high-volume real-time environment. The role is best suited for a candidate who thrives in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment with a passion for sports and gaming.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in payments management, preferably within the iGaming or online payments industry.
- Proven management or team leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Proficiency in using payments processing tools and software.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities,
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
- Familiarity with SQL and data analytics tools.
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities and to thrive in a face-paced work environment.
