Summary:
We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our Public Affairs & Access team, a multi-disciplinary organization that includes Corporate Communications, Policy, Evidence, & Access Strategy, Channel & Contract Management, External Affairs, and Strategy & Business Operations. Our mission is to amplify data and evidence generation to support and accelerate access for eligible patients.
Within the Strategy & Business Operations team, the Policy, Evidence, & Access Strategy (PEAS) Operations focuses on creating customer-centric solutions that align operational excellence with business strategies. Key responsibilities include thought partnership, strategic project and change management, vendor contracting, research operationalization, and compliance risk mitigation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain an understanding of the research types executed by the Evidence for Access (E4A) organization (e.g., real-world data studies, health economics and outcomes research, health systems research, non-interventional studies).
- Understand compliance, legal, and regulatory frameworks for E4A deliverables (e.g., non-interventional study requirements, research collaboration decision-making).
- Partner with researchers on E4A projects during the planning, execution, and application phases to ensure successful delivery.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Safety, Compliance, Medical) to ensure E4A remains compliant and efficient.
- Engage with research collaborators and external vendors for contract negotiation and project issue management.
- Foster a team culture of innovation, collaboration, and enterprise-level thinking.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in operations or a similar role, preferably in research & development, medical affairs, or supporting clinical/non-clinical study teams.
- Foundational knowledge of project management concepts and experience applying them in a work setting.
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, gSuite tools, and internal global systems.
- Understanding of the U.S. healthcare system, including health economics, pharmaceutical R&D, real-world evidence, value assessment, and payer/formulary processes.
- Ability to travel as required.
