Our client, a leading regional airline, values teamwork, diversity, and inclusivity. They are looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to ensure the safety of customers and employees by supervising maintenance personnel and overseeing aircraft preparation.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure a safe work environment by strictly following safety policies and maintenance manuals.
- Submit manual revisions for ineffective processes or procedures.
- Schedule the department for adequate coverage during maintenance activities.
- Prepare reports for the Maintenance Manager on delays, cancellations, and irregularities.
- Sign maintenance releases and take full responsibility for aircraft during checks.
- Ensure mechanics properly complete all work records.
- Coordinate planning to ensure scheduled maintenance is accurate.
- Monitor aircraft appearance and ensure they are well presented.
- Account for personnel performance and maintain communication with departments.
- Maintain tool inventories and ensure proper use.
- Facilitate pre-shift briefings to promote team dialogue.
- Supervise the Lead Mechanic and delegate duties as needed, maintaining responsibility.
- Oversee the Company's Security and Safety Management System and related outputs.
- Perform other duties to support maintenance operations.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Current FAA Airframe and Powerplant certification.
- At least three years of aviation maintenance experience.
- Must possess or have the ability to obtain a U.S. Passport or equivalent within 90 days of starting position.
- Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing).
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
- Relocation assistance up to $5000 available, with a 2-year commitment clause.
