Responsibilities:
- Identify opportunities to improve coverages, recommend solution alternatives, and coordinate with other areas to implement improvements
- Support research competitors’ forms and appetite across different market verticals
- Leads management of existing products based on core business metrics (e.g., profitability, retention, hit ratio)
- Collaborates closely with technical product management and engineering to ensure accurate implementation of insurance product requirements
- Underwrite complex underwriting referrals and exceptions to the core guidelines and use learnings to optimize the underwriting algorithm
Qualifications:
- 4+ years of related insurance experience in P&C commercial lines in underwriting, analytics or actuarial related roles
- Effective organization and time management skills with the ability to work under pressure and adhere to project deadlines
- Ability to learn new applications and systems and process complex data from multiple sources to create analyses and reports
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving skills
- Strong technical skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerBI, SQL
- Ability to work remotely with a high level of self-motivation
- Excellent written and verbal skills- ability to work in a team environment
