Overview:
A Senior Scheduler is responsible for overseeing and managing the scheduling activities within an organization. They work independently with little supervision and may supervise a team of schedulers or assistants. Responsibilities may include:
- Developing and implementing scheduling policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Managing and coordinating complex schedules for individuals, teams, or projects.
- Analyzing scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
- Providing guidance and support to junior schedulers or assistants.
- Coordinating with other departments to ensure that schedules are aligned with organizational goals and priorities.
- Communicating schedule changes and updates to relevant parties.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to understand their scheduling needs and preferences.
- Providing training and mentorship to junior schedulers or assistants.
- Leading meetings and discussions related to scheduling activities.
- Ensuring that schedules are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant with regulations and policies.
Soft Skills:
- Senior Schedulers should have strong leadership, organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
- They should also be detail-oriented, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

Experience:
- 5-10 years of scheduling experience
- P6 Experience
- Utility Experience
Education:
- Bachelor's degree is preferred but not required
