Title: Private Credit Associate
Location: New York
We at H&P Executive Search are partnered with a well-established private credit fund based in New York, with a strong track record since its founding in 2006. Their focus is on direct lending to lower-middle-market companies, with an emphasis on high-risk, non-sponsored opportunities. We operate as a generalist, providing flexible financing solutions across a diverse range of industries. They are currently investing out of their 8th fund, which successfully closed at $500 million.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform in-depth financial analysis and due diligence on potential investment opportunities.
- Support deal execution, including structuring, negotiation, and documentation.
- Monitor portfolio investments, including financial performance and risk assessment.
- Collaborate with senior team members on investment strategy and market research.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years of experience as an investment banker, specifically within the Restructuring team.
- Graduated with a bachelor's degree between 2020-2022.
- Strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and credit analysis.
- Experience with lower-middle-market companies and high-risk investments is highly desirable.
