Position Overview:
A GM is an individual who has embodied the full culture of Amped Fitness. They take EXTREME OWNERSHIP. They are THE ANSWER to everything. The absolute most important position in our company. They have the discipline and maturity that everything they do is a reflection of who they are. The GM runs one of the most expensive businesses in a retail setting responsible for the economics of not only our gyms, but the community in which they are in as well. It is an extreme honor to have the privilege to own the title of GENERAL MANAGER. A true career that has the ability to change your lifestyle significantly personally, financially, and professionally. This is a battle tested leader. They have proven their ability to successfully put the pressure of club revenue on their back while simultaneously being the ‘sun’ of their club. They energize, motivate, and inspire everyone around them within their four walls. They take ownership for the success and failure of every department. These individuals take on the responsibility of developing the next generation of Amped Fitness leaders. GMs take pride in representing their club as if their own name is on the door. Duties (not limited too)
- Maintaining company culture and energy
- Sales Strategies & Goals: Work with DM and develop/implement effective sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue goals
- Team Leadership & Development:** mentor AGMs and help them become GMs
- .Fostering a strong team culture that prioritizes member satisfaction and operational success.
- Hiring/ cultivating new talent
- Performance Monitoring: Analyze sales performance metrics and make data-driven decisions to enhance overall profitability and member retention.
- Collaborate with each department (e.g., personal training, front desk, membership sales) to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
- Maintaining customer relationships and customer service
- Personal Training Oversight: Ensure personal training programs maintain a healthy draft and support growth.
Qualifications
- Strong Leadership and development of teams
- Sales Management, Sales Strategy Development, and Sales Team Management skills
- Customer Relationship Management and Sales Target Achievement
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to analyze sales data and trends
- Previous experience in a sales role
- Previous experience in leading a team
- Previous fitness experience/ Passion for fitness
- Passion for helping others
