SciPro is partnered with an innovative Biotech in the San Francisco Bay area. The person selected will serve as a key leader reporting into the C-Suite within this rapidly growing organization.
Responsibilities:
- Provide leadership in driving drug discovery programs from discovery through late-stage development
- Grow scientific capabilities across design, synthesis and characterization of molecules
- Lead a team of 5 direct reports and collaborate with C-Suite leaders
- Supervise external vendors/partners
Qualifications:
- PhD & 12 + years of industry experience
- Experience leading degraders/molecular glues from early discovery to IND-Enabling
- Experience leading teams of internal and external collaborators
- Understanding of multiparameter optimization approaches including predictive ADMET models, properties-based drug design) and structure-based design to drug discovery.
- Strong understanding of computational chemistry is a plus
