We are seeking a skilled Wireless Network Architect to design, implement, and optimize our wireless infrastructure. This role involves assessing current systems, designing scalable and secure wireless networks, and leading the deployment of advanced wireless technologies. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Wi-Fi, cellular, and emerging wireless technologies, with a focus on delivering high-performance connectivity solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement wireless network architectures, including Wi-Fi, cellular, and IoT systems.
- Plan, design, deploy and maintain WLANs
- Evaluate and optimize network performance, ensuring reliable and secure connectivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate wireless solutions into broader IT infrastructure.
- Develop and enforce wireless security policies and standards.
- Conduct site surveys and assess current network infrastructure for scalability.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging wireless technologies.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience working with Cisco WLC, ISE, and Prime
- Extensive experience in wireless networking, including Wi-Fi standards (802.11), cellular networks, and network security.
- Knowledge of RF Software tools and experience using RF equipment.
- Proficiency with network design tools and wireless site survey software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Certifications such as CWNA, CWNP, or equivalent are a plus.
