Business Architect

The role is not necessarily tied to processes, it is about what business capabilities we have as a company (foundational elements that enable us to operate) and collaborate with the business to have a good understanding of their strategy and what gaps they have in existing business capabilities to support the strategy. Then this role will be partnering with IT to identify the solution that addresses those missing capabilities.
Responsibilities
These individuals identify gaps in business capabilities, work to identify strategy, handle gap analysis in those business capabilities and strategy and then take that to the IT team to make sure that they can address the gaps
• Analyze business model, processes, and capabilities to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats (SWOT analysis).
•Develop a comprehensive understanding of objectives, industry trends and customer needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders across various departments to gather information and assess requirements for improvements or changes.
• Design and model new business processes, structures, or systems to meet strategic goals and drive buisness value
• Evaluate the impract of proposed solutions on operations, customer experience and bottom line
• Ensure alignment between technology and business strategies by collaborating with IT and other technical teams.
• Communicate and promote the value of business architecture to stakeholders, including senior management and decision makers
• Facilitate change management and the implementation of new solutions by supporting project teams and providing guidance throughout the transition.
