Job Description:
6 to 9 years of experience
Experience as a Data Tester with large volume data processing and good knowledge on Database Concepts
Understanding ETL requirements Mapping document and transformation logics
Strong understanding of ETL processes and DWH concepts
Ability to write complex SQL queries including joins and handling multiple tables
Familiarity with data validation and verification techniques
Proficiency in test management and defect tracking tools like JIRA
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
Nice to have Skills
Banking domain knowledge is highly desirable
Domain understanding of Regulatory Compliance OR Liquidity Reporting OR Risk Reporting
Hands on experience with Test automation tools and frameworks
Good knowledge in Bigdata Ecosystem
Basic knowledge in Abinitio PySpark
Responsibilities
ETL and database testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data extraction transformation and loading processes
Design and execute test plans identify defects and collaborate closely with development and data teams to maintain data integrity throughout the ETL pipeline
Executing test cases for multiple iterations to identify all the anomalies between very large volume of source and target data at each layer
Develop and test strategies and plans for ETL and database testing
Execute test cases to validate data accuracy and completeness
Verify data integrity across different stages of the ETL process
Identify document and track defect and assists in their resolution
Collaborate on test automation efforts and improve test coverage
Prepare test reports and communicate findings to stake holders.
