Job Summary:
The Administrative Assistant is responsible for efficiently managing administrative tasks to support the operations. This role requires a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle sensitive information securely.
Key Responsibilities:
Mail Management:
- Receive, copy, and process mail, ensuring accurate disbursement to the appropriate department or management.
- Correctly name forms, organize them into virtual files, and send them to the designated delegates.
Financial Processing:
- Use an electronic scanner to process insurance and patient checks.
- Manage rejected checks and handle the process of bringing them to the bank on a weekly basis.
Communication:
- Mail necessary forms to patients and vendors in a timely manner.
Database Management:
- Add payors to the Brightree system and update records as needed.
- Process financial hardships and assist with data entry tasks related to payors.
Reporting and Assistance:
- Assist the Director of RCM with various reporting tasks, including preparation of appeals, and statements.
- Manage online portals effectively to ensure smooth communication and data flow.
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in using office software and electronic scanning devices.
- Familiarity with Brightree and insurance processing is preferred.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Minimum of 5 years experience of Administrative Assistant/Management
- DME Experience is Preferred but not a requirement
Working Conditions:
