The EPMO Technology Project Manager is responsible for leading and organizing all activities pertaining to projects facilitated through the Arhaus EPMO. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: business analysis, documenting processes, detailed requirements, managing project schedules, timelines, and overall project planning. This position is located at our Corporate Headquarters in Boston Heights, Ohio.
RESPONSIBILITES:
• Ensuring all project life cycle milestones follow the System Development Life Cycle Policy and associated documentation is completed.
• Identify, communicate and assign tasks to project resources.
• Develop and maintain a project plan. This includes documenting business needs and project requirements, communicate requirements to the team for a solution, resource plan, work plan, and estimated project duration/effort.
• Understand business processes and goals of business units associated with a project; partner with functional teams to execute operational and IT projects.
• Documents current and future state business process and IT system flow to support process design
• Monitor all project activity, robust budget monitoring, tracking to forecast and actuals, and resource management to ensure the project remains on schedule, within budget, and that no rework will be required.
• Manage vendor relationships and expectations.
• Support business partners in resolving issues that arise from day-to-day operational activities.
• Ability to plan and manage workload, commitments, and schedules across multiple projects.
• Support the Project Team in test planning and quality assurance processes, user training coordination, change management documentation, as well as support post-launch stabilization efforts.
• Provide clear and reliable communications to internal teams, project stakeholders, external vendors, and customers on status of assigned project(s).
• Understands how project decisions impact key business metrics and the enterprise strategy.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Information Technology, Retail Merchandising or a related field
• 3-5 years of related experience.
• Must have worked in or be familiar with a Retail environment and can assimilate and understand business and technology concepts.
• Retail, Ecommerce, Merchandising, ERP, CRM, OMS, or Supply Chain system experience is preferred.
• Able to establish strong relationships and liaise with business partners to provide solutions to meet their needs.
• Experience in gathering, documenting and organizing business requirements.
• Ability to advocate for business partner(s) and procure technical assistance to help in problem resolution as required
• Strong presentation skills and must be very detail oriented.
• Highly motivated team player and self-starter.
• Excellent organizational problem solving and time management skills are required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as interpersonal skills.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, and/or Access).
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and have a “roll up your sleeves” and “today not tomorrow” mentality.
