About the Role
Empower’s Buying Operations Specialists play a central role in supporting the Investment Practice – they are adept in the activation and management of media campaign creative. In this role, the Specialist supports the Investment Team via the on-time delivery and management of creative assets. The Specialist has an understanding of media and the inner workings of a media agency, the linear ecosystem, traffic management systems such as Extreme Reach, as well as project management skills and tools.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to develop creative asset specifications and delivery timelines in alignment with media plans to ensure on-time campaign launch
- Responsible for ensuring accurate input, management and trafficking of all broadcast, audio/video, digital, outdoor, social, and print media assets with external vendors and media providers.
- Partner with clients, creative agencies, and media partners to secure creative approvals of assets as needed
- Work closely with Client Leadership and Integrated Planning on timelines and status of assets for each campaign, across multiple clients
- Review all creative assets received from clients or creative agencies and ensure they meet specifications per approved media plans
- Audit and approve traffic invoices in collaboration with Client Financial Services
- Act as mediator between Empower, clients, publishers, and media partners
- Support the Social, Digital, Broadcast media teams as well as Ad Operations, in campaign execution

- Experience with creative media assets, ad serving platforms, ad management systems, third parting tagging
- Experience with platforms like DCM, FlashTalking, Viant, DV360, etc.
Qualifications
- Work experience in media agency or creative agency setting
- Experience with broadcast trafficking systems i.e., Extreme Reach or similar
- Experience with media tools such as MediaOcean and Prisma
- Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook and Excel
- Associate Degree+ in marketing/advertising or related field
