Engineering Manager - Embedded Hardware
Engineering Manager for the Embedded Hardware team is desired at a wearable computing company who are scaling their R&D team. You will be working on high-speed human-computer interfaces that amplify your potential through all-day real-time AI.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the complete embedded hardware development process and take ownership of its performance.
- Create and manage project plans, budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Establish processes and frameworks to ensure efficient execution of priorities.
- Implement a hardware development process for Wi-R reference hardware.
- Lead and coordinate technical decisions in areas like PCB development, RF hardware, interconnects, reliability, and hardware-software co-design.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree with over 5 years of experience in embedded systems design.
- 3+ years of experience leading a team.
- Skilled in collaborating with software teams to define and implement firmware, drivers, and algorithms.
- Extensive experience in embedded device development and Design for Manufacturing (DFM).
