Job Title: R&D Technician II
Location: Plymouth, Minnesota, 55442
Shift: 8:00 AM to 5:30 pm (Start time can be between 6 AM to 9 AM)
Duration: 06 Months
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform tests on medical devices (heart catheters) (mechanical, electrical, conditioning, length, OD, visual) ·
- Everything from simple to complex for testing.
- Able to follow written and verbal instruction ·
- 85/15 lab time/desk time all work time is on-site.
Experience Required:
- Someone familiar with working in a med device setting, preferably testing, but product building could also be an option BS in another discipline if the candidate likes to work with their hands and can stay focused on testing.
Experience/Skills:
- Medical device testing experience
- R&D experience
- Working with test methods
- Able to follow verbal/written instructions
- Able to manage their time
- Able to prioritize
- Some document drafting exp. a plus
- Detail oriented - data sheets - utilizing good documentation practices
- Be able to clearly communicate ideas, problems and solutions to engineers.
- Works well with a team
- Follow safety guidelines and utilize appropriate safety devices when performing all tasks that require such precautions.
Equipment/tools:
- caliper, MTS, multimeters, digital thermometers, Force Gage, Cognex, LabView Knowledge of Microsoft Office
