LHH is seeking a skilled Legal Administrative Assistant to support our busy attorneys with a variety of administrative and legal tasks. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, flexible, and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Prepare engagement letters, expense reports, and travel arrangements
- Review, revise, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
- Format, edit, and track documents using redlining applications
- Assist with recordation of documents in public records
- Manage attorneys’ calendars, schedule appointments, and maintain client contact information
- Run conflict checks, open/close client matters, and establish accurate electronic and paper files
- Ensure client billing requirements are met and assist with attorneys’ time entry
- Review and edit pre-bills for attorney approval
**Requirements:**
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including advanced knowledge of Word
- Experience with electronic document management systems (Filesite/iManage preferred)
- Ability to manage a busy desk for multiple attorneys
- Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Experience in Adobe and Simplifile or online public records recording is a plus
$65,000 - $90,000 plus benefits
