Judson Group has partnered by a highly regarded wealth firm in the search for a Senior Wealth Advisor. This individual will work to initiate, cultivate, and maintain relationships with HNW individuals and their families, collaborating with the rest of the team to develop investment solutions that help them achieve their long-term goals. The ability to forge new client relationships is key to success in this role, and the Senior Wealth Advisor must be able to communicate to potential clients the firm’s unique value proposition as an investment manager. In addition, a successful candidate must be proactive in building client relationships with a results-driven, yet long-term mindset.
We should note that this position involves the opportunity to ultimately take meaningful equity ownership in the firm. This means that the right candidate should be looking for a long-term position to help build a business serving the firm’s HNW clients, one which comes with appropriate compensation and responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain client relationships, acting as the primary relationship manager for HNW clients.
- Participate in business development initiatives through COIs, referrals, and community events.
- Sit on the firm’s investment committee and contribute meaningfully to portfolio positioning.
- Introduce financial planning, estate, tax, and retirement plans to prospective clients.
- Lead meetings with clients and prospects.
- Lead planning and relationship management, including day-to-day client needs and formal reviews.
- Work with clients to ensure action items are thoroughly executed and documented.
- Gather client data including financial constraints and goals.
- Implementing recommendations and strategies with assistance from support staff.
- Collaborate with client support team to provide an exceptional client experience.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience with an investment consulting/management firm, family office, or RIA.
- BA/BS degree required; advanced degree preferred.
- CFP/CFA and other designations preferred.
- Strong business development track record.
- Experience with CRM, financial planning software, and portfolio accounting software.
- Organized and detail oriented while managing and prioritizing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
